VALUE MEANINGS OF SECURITY CATEGORIES IN THE PSYCHOSEMANTIC FIELD OF DAGESTANIS IN THE PERIOD OF COVID-19 THREATS

Abstract: modern socio-epidemiological challenges have led to a crisis in the life values of the young generation of Dagestanis, and unfavorable conditions have emerged for the emergence of a threat to the psychological security of the individual. COVID-threats that forced active, young people to isolate themselves and distance themselves socially, changed interpersonal relationships and led to the transformation of a person’s psychological resources that ensure their successful socialization and socio-psychological adaptation. They are especially acute in young people who are just starting out on a professional path. The authors studied and reported on the results of their research on the phenomenology of this phenomenon, making a methodological excursion into popular scientific trends and practical findings on the problem of psychosemantics and security psychology. Empirical data obtained by the authors during the period of pandemic threats, from March to September 2020, on a sample of Dagestani master students of the training direction 44.04.02-psychological and pedagogical education, profile “Psychological counseling in education”, allowed us to find some regularities in the formation of psychosemantic flares that serve the understanding of the phenomenon of “Psychological security”. We used methodological tools adequate to the research tasks (the method of psychosemantic differential (Ch.Osgood), the technique of free association, subjective ranking and interpretation of the data). The authors of the article came to the conclusion that the value meanings of the “security” category among Dagestanis have a specific hierarchy of education and can be classified.
