Abstract: this article discusses the design solution of a system of supportive therapy for newborns. One of the most important achievements of modern medicine is the ability to care for the youngest patients. These are children who were born much earlier than their term. These babies have 3 main problems: insufficient ability to keep warm, problems with nutrition, high risk of diseases, especially infections. Previously, they had very little chance of survival, but now the situation has changed. What do you need to grow up a healthy and full-fledged baby from such a crumb? First, we need high-tech equipment and the latest drugs. Secondly, it requires the knowledge and experience of doctors and auxiliary medical personnel, who are improving their skills every day. Third, it is very important to have boundless love from those people who surround the baby. After all, modern demanding work and family life simply do not allow parents to be with the baby around the clock. The “baby house” is designed to bring maximum cosiness and comfort to babies, especially those born prematurely. Knowledge of the physiological characteristics of premature babies, as well as the creation of optimal environmental conditions for their development, proper care and feeding allow raising full-fledged children, who often in the first 2-3 years of life reach the level of development of their full-term peers. The proposed design solution creates the effect of the mother’s presence when she can not be near, recreating the feeling of a hug, surrounding the child with the smell of the mother and reproducing her heartbeat through the speakers.
