SPORTS AND MUSIC FANATICISM IN ADOLESCENCE AS AN INDICATOR OF ADDICTIVE BEHAVIOR

Abstract: the relevance of the study of sports and musical fanaticism is due to the nature of social processes, the search for ways to influence the ideology and behavior of adolescents and youth. Sports and music bigotry is recognized as an option for addictive violations among adolescents and youth. The article provides an overview of contemporary perceptions of bigotry in the context of addictive behavior. The problem of sports and musical fanaticism, its prevention among students of secondary professional organizations (hereinafter – SPO) and higher professional organizations (hereinafter – VPO) is updated.

The results of socio-psychological testing of students aimed at early detection of non-medical consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (hereinafter – testing) are presented. It is possible that fanaticism can serve as a predictor of the further consumption of psychoactive substances (PS) by adolescents and young men. To this end, testing data among students of SPO and VPO from 2015-2019 from 18 districts of Leningrad region (more than 24,000 respondents of 15 year old and older) were analyzed.

The statements of respondents characterizing their emotional state, degree of trust and psychological safety to the educational organization, attitude to risk are considered. In addition to the tendency to risk, increased excitability, emotional instability for persons prone to addictive behavior, the influence on them of authoritative personalities, significant peers, as well as musical and sports idols is also characteristic. Scientific and methodological collections on primary prevention of addictive behavior of teenagers and young people are recommended.
