PERSONALITY ORIENTATION AND EATING BEHAVIOR OF OVERWEIGHT PEOPLE

Abstract: a person’s orientation is a system of dominant motives that determine a person’s tactical and strategic goals, behavior and work, and activity. Overweight: the socio-psychological aspect in the conditions of the modern rhythm of life. Personality orientation with excess weight. Eating behavior that forms eating behavior, on the one hand, is the result of the influence of many factors, among which is the orientation of the person. On the other hand, eating habits are prerequisites, often the root causes of many behavioral changes (for example, so-called psychological complexes). From eating behavior, constant habits, lifestyle and much more are formed. In cases where eating behavior generally corresponds to the norm (in this case, the concept of the norm in the context of eating behavior is conditional) and does not entail obesity or anorexia, and in the case where eating behavior deviates significantly from the norm and is characterized by preferences that entail a deficiency or excess body weight, this issue becomes very relevant. The focus of personality, also considered in this study, is of interest because it reflects many important personality qualities and behavior of the person as a whole. The orientation of the individual is closely related to the nutritional one, and identifying the characteristics of this relationship is important for the development of effective methods for correcting dietary behavior.
