FEATURES OF WORK WITH TEENAGERS STUDYING IN THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF A CLOSED TYPE AND EXPERIENCING LOSS

Abstract: the article deals with the features of interaction with adolescents raised in the conditions of Suvorov military school, experiencing loss and grief. The specificity of the educational institution and its impact on the formation of personality is revealed, the types of losses and stages of grief, practical recommendations for interaction with adolescents at the time of grief are considered. The author reveals the details of the work and the provision of psychological assistance at each stage. The purpose of this article is to present the practical experience and specifics of the support of the process of grief and loss of teenagers in a closed educational institution (on the example of Suvorov military school). To achieve this goal, the following tasks become relevant: to consider the psychological characteristics of the conditions of stay of adolescents in the Suvorov school; to introduce the concept of “grief”, the stages of living loss; to analyze the specifics of providing psychological assistance to adolescents living in the conditions of the Suvorov military school. Knowledge about the features of adolescents experiencing loss helps to reduce the risk of post-traumatic stress disorder, the formation of adverse life scenarios or other serious consequences, because these experiences affect all aspects of the individual – psychological, physiological, behavioral, the process of interpersonal interaction with other people.
