THE PROBLEM OF PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF THE DAUGHTER IN MODERN KARACHAY FAMILY

Abstract: socio-economic and political changes taking place in the modern Russian society over the past decades affect the area of marriage and family relations of all peoples, changing the type, structure, functions of the family. Questions of adaptation of the person to new conditions, problems of its self-realization, including in space of a related family became aggravated. Accordingly, in modern conditions, new principles of interpersonal interaction are formed.The situation is aggravated by the fact that in our country, individualistic attitudes and orientations dictated by the current trends of globalization are in conflict with the traditional foundations of the national family.Thus, in modern conditions, the adaptation of girls to social status in the space of a new family becomes an urgent problem and, in turn, actualizes the problem of readiness of young people to family status – role functions. In our opinion, a successful family, along with other characteristics, involves a successful intra-family, psychological adaptation of girls as daughters-in-law in the Karachay family.The article considers the extent to which the readiness of girls to family – role prescriptions affect their successful psychological adaptation to the role of daughters-in-law. It is revealed that the loss of traditions and customs leads to problems of psychological adaptation of daughters-in-law in the modern Karachay family.
