CHANGE OF SOME INDICATORS OF CARBON METABOLISM IN SCHOOL CHILDREN LIVING IN THE CONDITIONS OF DAGESTAN HIGH-MOUNTAINS

Abstract: the change of some indicators of carbohydrate metabolism in children and adolescents living in the highlands of Dagestan was studied.

The somatic, physiological and biochemical status of a plant organism is a sensitive marker and indicator of various manifestations of urban stress and the geochemical structure of the environment.

Physiological and biochemical health indicators are subject to fluctuations of various kinds depending on geographic, climatic, ethnic, ecological and social factors and the level of urbanization.

We conducted research on the concentration of glucose, glycogen, lactate, and pyruvic acid in the blood of children and adolescents living in the highlands of Dagestan.

Certain patterns were revealed in changes in the level of glucose, glycogen, lactate, and pyruvic acid in children and adolescents at different age periods.

Determining the concentration (level) of carbohydrate metabolism metabolites in particular of glucose, glycogen, pyruvic and lactic acids in the blood in children and adolescents is widely used for diagnostic and prognostic purposes. At the same time, in the period of growth and development of all living organisms, including humans, a necessary condition is the consistency of their internal biological processes. In addition, the study of functional indicators to characterize the state of assessment of the level of human health. In particular, the study of the level of certain metabolites of carbohydrate metabolism in the blood is in fact essential. The level of metabolites in the blood is in fact influenced by numerous factors, including climatic factors, which makes it possible to attribute the metabolites to the most important links in the mechanism of regulation of metabolic processes in the body.

In connection with the above stated, we studied the level of activity of certain metabolites of carbohydrate metabolism in the blood of children and adolescents living in the highlands of Dagestan.
