THE PSYCHOLOGISM OF INTERGENERATIONAL CONFLICTS AS A SUBJECT OF SCIENTIFIC REFLECTION

Abstract: conflict of generations is a type of social conflict. It takes place both in the family and at the level of society. Traditionally, conflict relationships between generations are considered from the standpoint of the relationship between “fathers” and “children.” The problem of intergenerational relations, or, as they say, the “parent-child” system of conflict, has been studied by teachers and psychologists for a long time and without success as they did not find a universal recipe. Nevertheless, when considering this phenomenon, its content and structure, under the weight of the dialectical contradiction, the form of conflict between generations, their methods and interaction are constantly changing. Taking into account specific historical characteristics, age period, which form their own social standard of intergenerational contacts. Conflict interactions within and between generations are at the same time a factor in the destruction and strengthening of social ties and relations. Classically conflicts between the generations and their relationships are studied between the age, the authors propose to consider them as the difference between age-related psychological characteristics and mental structures. The article for the first time attempts to analyze the phenomenon of intergenerational conflict as a socio-psychological problem and considers its psychological determinants.
