A STUDY OF THE DETERMINANTS OF STRESS RESISTANCE OF CADETS OF EMERCOM

Abstract: the article presents the results of the study of the structure of the determinants of stress resistance of cadets of the higher school of the Ministry of Emergencies. The stages of the study are described, a brief description of the results is given for each. In accordance with the objectives of the study, each stage is focused on identifying the determinants of the professionally important quality of cadets of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the level of formation of which depends on a number of factors due to both the personal characteristics of the cadet and the conditions of his training based on the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education and in accordance with professional standards “Firefighter”, “Rescuer”. It is noted that the choice of a profession of a risk group is determined by meaning-life orientations, motivational orientation. The study revealed the interdependence of motivational intensity and the level of stress resistance as a multifactorial phenomenon. Models (matrices) of personality traits of the Ministry of Emergency Situations cadets, tested in the course of the forming experiment, and an algorithm for working with them was developed. On the basis of factor analysis, the key determinants of high and low levels of stress resistance of the Emergencies Ministry cadets were identified. Based on the method of factor analysis of the determinants of high and low levels of stress resistance, the most significant determinants affecting the formation of stress resistance were identified. Based on the results of the study, a program of psychological and pedagogical support for the formation of a professionally important quality of stress resistance of cadets of the Ministry of Emergencies was developed. A brief description, forms of work and the results of testing the program are given.
