PATHOGENETIC INFLUENCE OF UTERINE TONE ON THE EFFICIENCY OF EXTRACORPORAL FERTILIZATION RESULTS

Abstract: a comparative analysis of the results of in vitro fertilization in 76 women with infertility was carried out, taking into account the peculiarities of the individual reaction of a woman’s body to implantation of an embryo into the uterine cavity. Before the start of the study program, all participants signed an informed consent and an agreement on non-disclosure of personal data and the specifics of the study. The study is based on the proposition that irritation of the reflexogenic zone of the uterus will lead to the appearance of a genital-genital inhibitory reflex, which will lead to discoordination of the motor activity of the uterus. In turn, against this background, the likelihood of fertilization and the development of pregnancy after in vitro fertilization will decrease. Depending on the development of discoordination of the rhythm of motor activity of the uterus after in vitro fertilization, the study participants were divided into 2 groups. Group I included 42 women who showed a moderate increase in motor activity without discoordination of the rhythm of uterine contraction after in vitro fertilization. Group II included 43 women who, after intrauterine implantation of the embryo, had an expressed discoordination of the rhythm and activation of the motor activity of the uterus. The criterion for assessing the influence of the genital-genital inhibitory reflex on the effectiveness of in vitro fertilization in the study groups was the onset of pregnancy. A comparative analysis of the results of in vitro fertilization showed that in group I, where a compensated genital-genital inhibitory reflex was noted, the pregnancy rate significantly exceeded those in group II, where a pathological decompensated genital-genital inhibitory reflex developed (P <0.05). Moreover, the number of unsatisfactory results in group I was significantly less than in group II (P <0.05). Conclusion: the results of the study showed that the pathological genital-genital inhibitory reflex, accompanied by decompensated discoordination of the motor activity of the uterus, which develops against the background of intrauterine intervention with the introduction of an embryo into the uterine cavity, is a pathogenetically significant factor affecting the decrease in the effectiveness of in vitro fertilization. It is promising to conduct further studies aimed at studying the pathogenetic features of the influence of the genital-genital inhibitory reflex on the results of in vitro fertilization and their correction.
