THEORETICAL CONTENT OF THE CONCEPT OF CHILD FEAR

Abstract: in an environment of socio-economic instability in modern children, the spectrum of fears experienced has significantly expanded and negative behavioral reactions have exacerbated, which can largely adversely affect the psycho-emotional health and personality development of the child. Children’s fears are, to one degree or another, due to age characteristics and are temporary. However, fears that persist for a long time serve as a sign of emotional distress and negatively affect the child’s mental health and development. This article presents a theoretical interpretation of the concepts of “children’s fear” based on the research of domestic and foreign psychologists and psychotherapists.
