THE IMPORTANCE OF DETERMINING BODY TYPES IN OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGICAL PRACTICE

Abstract: the relevance of the study of breast tumor diseases in the early stages of the disease is not in doubt, given the continuing growth of breast disease worldwide. The aim of the study was to study the frequency of benign breast diseases in women of different body types. Materials and methods. 610 women were examined. Among the women studied 200 people were mаcrosomatotype, 220 – mesosomatotype, and 190 – microsomatotype. Somatometry was performed according to R. N. Dorokhov. Results. It was found that benign breast disease was significantly more prevalent among the women of macrosomatic body type compared with women with meso- and microsomatotypes (p<0.05). The probability of developing benign breast diseases increased in the case of increasing body fat mass. Summary. Thus, it was found that in women with macrosomatic body type risk of developing benign breast disease the most high, in comparison with women with meso- and microsomatotypes, that allows you to generate among patients at risk for the development of the disease, which will contribute to more effective implementation of preventive measures to prevent the development of pathology in the outpatient clinics.
