Abstract: in the article the relevance of suicide behavior problem from positions of factors of suicide risk and suicide prevention is considered. Within the given context, hardiness of personality as a factor preventing risk of suicide is discussed. In this aspect hardiness is presented as a strong personal resource of coping negative impacts of stressful situations and, thus, of suicide behavior risk prevention. With the aim of analysis of personality hardiness interrelations features of youth with high level of proneness to suicide behavior, it was conducted the empirical study. Interpretation of the given study results let us make the main conclusions regarding features of personality hardiness of youth prone to suicide behavior, consisting in that the low level of hardiness leads to increasing the inner tension in stressful situations, that increases the level of proneness to suicide behavior.
