TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF COMPLICATIONS IN TRANSURETHRAL ENDOSCOPIC SURGERY FOR BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA

Abstract: the article presents the results of the study of the effectiveness of the drug hyaluronic acid “UROGIAL” in the postoperative period in patients operated for benign prostatic hyperplasia by bipolar transurethral resection and prostate enucleation. The effect of intravesical instillations of the drug is aimed at accelerating the epitalization of the surgical bed of the prostate, which allows to prevent postoperative dysuric disorders and delayed complications of sclerotic nature. At the end of the postoperative course of treatment among patients who received instillation of the drug (the main group – 51 p.), compared with patients treated under the standard drug scheme (control group – 150 p.), the frequency of irritative disorders was lower by 3.4 times, obstructive complications were absent. The results indicate the need to include the drug “UROGIAL” in the standard postoperative regimen of treatment and prevention of complications of endoscopic operations on the prostate, which will improve the results of surgical treatment and the quality of life of operated patients.
