COURSE, DIAGNOSTIC AND REHABILITATION OF ELDERLY PATIENTS WITH DISEASES OF THE MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM

Abstract: the material is of interest to neurologists, rehabilitologists, using methods of physiotherapy and physical therapy in persons with diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The emphasis is placed on persons over 65 years of age, in whom degenerative and dystrophic changes in the musculoskeletal system undergo changes that progress with increasing age qualification, which leads to preventable disability and loss of household orientation, which reduces the quality of life [7, 8]. The material allows to summarize not only the role of modern methods of diagnostic examination of elderly patients with neurological pathology, but also about the means of physical therapy, which in the individual selection provide correction of already identified violations, including their reverse development, which does not contradict the literature data [7, 8]. The emphasis is on the regression of VASH-indicators of pain syndrome and the effects of therapeutic exercise in cervical and lumbosacral dorsopathy.
