TEMPORARY COMPETENCE AS THE KEY OF SYSTEM THINKING DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN MANAGERS AND AGILE TEAM LEADERS IN THE ERA OF CHANGES

Abstract: the article discusses the differences in the characteristics of the future time perspective of managers of different levels and generations: students who are future managers, current middle and senior managers. All of them were involved in Agile projects to varying degrees. The time perspective of the future is considered in accordance with the interpretation of J.Nuttin as a motivation space. The sample is N = 104, where are 64 students, 24 middle managers and 16 TOP managers using the Motivational Induction Method (MIM) by J. Nuttin, it was found that managers with different levels of success differ in the temporal and substantial components of the future time perspective. The most striking markers that characterize the sample of managers in general, were identified. That makes possible to identify possible leaders predictively, including Agile teams in the future. The article provides a detailed technology for the development of the temporary perspective and temporary competence, as well as their connection with the development of such managerial competence as “Strategic Thinking”. The study proves that systematic work through group and individual coaching, including Agile coaching, allows to expand and fill the time perspective of managers, thereby improve the level of their strategic management decisions reliably. Thus, an original methodology and technology of A. Bukharina for the implementation of such practical tasks is revealed.
