SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC AND CLINICAL FEATURES OF PSORIATIC DISEASE IN THE POPULATION OF THE NORTHERN REGION

Abstract: in the study of psoriasis in the population of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, certain sex, age and gender features of the occurrence of this pathology are observed. Psoriasis relapses occur in residents of the northern region much more often than in the southern territories, however, seasonal inversion of exacerbations is observed: winter-summer, instead of autumn-spring. The frequency of relapses increases from adolescence to a maximum during periods of maturity and decreases to the elderly. In women, a more severe recurrence is observed, up to the onset of pre- and postmenopausal periods, in contrast to the uncertain course that is observed in men. The group-wide trend is an increase in the segments of an uncertain and constantly recurring flow, which is possibly related to the changed duration of the actual seasons of the year and the characteristic photoperiod.
