PECULIARITIES OF ANXIETY AMONG BACHELOR’S DEGREE STUDENTS OF A PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALTY

Abstract: the article presents the results of the study of anxiety of students of pedagogical profile. On the basis of theoretical and empirical analysis, the authors systematize ideas about anxiety as a separate construct and its features among students of higher educational institutions who study in a pedagogical profile. Determination of the level, dominant type of anxiety, calculation of its basic quantitative indicators is based on the study of self-assessment of anxiety of students from the first to the fourth courses.

The obtained data are important for the organization of educational activities of students. The optimal level of anxiety necessary as a signal of danger and dissatisfaction with current needs is necessary as a natural condition for the activity of the individual in the social environment. Analysis and self-analysis of the manifestations and nature of students’ anxiety will have a positive impact on the quality of mastering professional skills. Knowledge about the high level of personal anxiety of students, obtained and proven empirically, will allow to organize support for students in their adaptation to the conditions of training in higher education, the development of professional skills, behavior strategies, and understanding the status of the teacher.
